The Contract Administration of a project may incorporate the following services:
- Development of the Client’s Brief
- Fulfil the role of Principal Designer as set out in the Construction (Design & Management Regulations 2015)
- Developing/drafting Planning and Building Regulation applications
- Developing/drafting the Contract Specification and Contractors’ Tender Documents
- Overseeing and coordinating the Tender process
- Providing a Tender Analysis following Tender returns
- Drafting or advising on Contract Documents
- Inspections regarding the progress and quality of the works
- Liaising with Local Authority’s Planners and Building Control Officers
- Agreeing Contractor Interim Valuations, issuing Interim Valuation Certificates and carrying out general administration duties to expedite the smooth running of the project
- Development of final snagging list
- Issue the Certificate of Practical Completion in accordance with the Contract
- Develop, agree and finalise the Final Account following the agreed Defects Liability period
